Bio

Raj Tambade is an Architectural designer & an amateur photographer from India, currently based in Düsseldorf, Germany. He received the Master of Arts in Architecture & Urban Design (MA AUD) from Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

His works are an investigation of the established beliefs of architecture and photography, through operating permutations and combinations of design strategies, where erratic minor decisions lead to either astounding or catastrophic derivatives. He is constantly engaged in creating new means of interactions between our environment and the psyche through his extensive post-humanist interest. The works usually consist of a hybrid of conventional and contemporary mediums of design and documentation.

Some of the recent projects include the ‘Dissolution of Reality’ which was a non-trivial machine for the post-anthropocentric city of Frankfurt. And his Photo essay, ‘The Industrial Nostalgia’ featured in an online magazine PRIVATE.
